Taking food out of the oven
It’s a cold winter day with snow and sleet
Covering the windows and lawn
But inside we are toasty warm near the stove
While a pot roast is simmering within,
Surrounded by carrots and little potatoes,
Small onions and swimming in gravy;
The enchanting smell of it wafts through the house
And we all start to feel a bit crazy.
The garlic bread browns in the broiler and then
Co-joins with the scent of dark gravy
I take it all hot from the oven and say
Come and get it–dinner’s all ready!

Terrific contribution. Many thanks for sharing that. I was not really informed of your web site, but will certainly come again a lot more frequently at this point. Including you to my favorites.
